When an award-winning goat cheese processor needed to expand their production capabilities, they purchased a 35,000 square foot warehouse in Lindsay, Ontario. The building required significant improvements to transform it into a state-of-the-art, sanitary, CFIA-approved cheese-making facility. Tri-Mach’s experience in the dairy industry and our comprehensive knowledge of sanitary design made us the ideal General Contractor for this project.
During the aggressive four-month timeline, Tri-Mach was responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of all subcontractors. This included all above-ground work, such as pouring and coating new concrete floors, installing insulation panels, mechanical piping, evaporator and compressor installation, all electrical services, equipment relocation, and refrigeration installation. With the most impressive element of the new facility being the observation platform that wraps around the entire facility, providing customers and suppliers with a live view of the cheese-making process.
Confident that Tri-Mach was skillfully managing the transformation of their new facility, the client was able to focus on growing their business in anticipation of a second phase expansion. The increase in manufacturing space now allows our customer’s award-winning goat cheese to be produced more efficiently and effectively.
The Tri-Mach name is built on dependable service, hard work, dedication, and the innovation required to meet the demanding challenges our customers face. With yet another successful project completion, Tri-Mach looks forwards to continuing our relationship with this highly valued customer.
