Tri-Mach Group was challenged with designing, manufacturing, and installing a custom IV bag production line unlike any other. Partnered with ACIC Pharmaceutical Machinery, this large-scale project included new technology and processes tailored to meet the unique needs of the customer, including high-speed diverters and merges, 90-degree orientation transfers, 180-degree spiral flipping conveyors, and inspection booths. From form-fill-sealing to case packaging, this project incorporated a variety of equipment to transport and prepare these IV bags in a safe and sanitary manner.
To further the safety procedures during production, Tri-Mach Group also designed and implemented IV bag foreign material inspection booths. These booths assist operators in ensuring that each bag is 100% safe for customer use before they are sent out to hospitals. With an overall decrease in IV bags across North America in past years, this high production operation will help to increase distribution and get these supplies to where they are needed most.
