From the Waterloo Record
Two Waterloo Region manufacturers are getting provincial money.
Tri-Mach Group Inc. in Elmira is getting $344,000 from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund to help them expand and invest in new equipment. Tri-Mach, a manufacturer of sanitary equipment for the food and liquid processing, and pharmaceutical industries, is using the money to expand its plant on Donway Court and adopt automation technology. The company plans to add 10 jobs while retaining 62 positions. It said the project has an overall value of more than $3.4 million and will be completed by the summer of 2020.
Funding from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund typically covers 10 to 15 per cent of eligible project costs.
